This is us overlooking the lower half of the city.

Me at our hostel - I hand washed my 'outfit' and it's drying overnight. The beds are bad - I have to sleep not in the middle so I'm busy rotating left to right trying to prevent my body from going numb.

The exchange rate is nearly 8:1 US$ so we are

living like queens! I've only pulled money out once and I still have most of it and have enjoyed luxuries such as cabs and eating out.

Enroute to Kiev

Leaving Paris for Kiev in about 30 minutes. I'll meet my cousin Kristy
in Kiev. At least I tell myself that anyway:)

The Depot- a dive

We went to the Depot in Berwyn, Chicago. It was a dive as featured on
Diners Drive-ins and Dives. And the food was really really good. It
used to be a train turn-around so everything was train themed.

Alarm clock

My mom was woken up by a pop and getting wet- the bottom left can
opened itself and sprayed her. Chances are higher for this when you
have seven cans of pop next to your bed.

Cutest boy loves broccoli

This kid will down any veggie unlike another nephew who literally
vomits if a vegetable enters his mouth.
