I'm so tired...

I spent more than 12 hours at school today- hope it ends up paying off.
But I was so tired, I didn't have the energy to bend over and pick up these delicious sour worms I saw on the ground or cross the road and go 7-11 for a diet coke.

The Big Easy, BYU, and the boys

Here's a picture of my dad and Bret about to devour some pot of seafood in New Orleans. Bret acquired some amazing VIP seats for the BYU vs Florida game tomorrow. I'm living this trip vicariously through them.
I only have three weeks til finals start! Ahhhhh. I'm studying at least 5-6 hours a day, which is huge for me:)
Go Cougs! And Aztecs and Wildcats.

My building has great security...

So good in fact, when a man found my drivers license and credit card that I'd dropped, A: no one let him in the building and B: no one offered to put it at my door.
I sent 'Brandon' a thank you post card. And I'm impressed to know there's such nice people in Americas Finest City:)

Contraband makes an appearance

On the advice of the person I seek advice from, my super sweet (as in cool- not endearing) sister Kara, I'm going back on the bottle. Well, I guess it's actually the can, and I prefer fountain.
I walk by a 7-11 everyday so I'll pry get big gulps soon.
It's not even 8:00am and I'm ready for a nap. So let's hope I can enjoy the ddp instead:)
Cheers!

First floor framed

I've really enjoyed the smell of lumber. Really. It smells good.

This ones for you Sara!

These are Harrys great friends Eric and Justin. They've been tooling around southern cal and stopped by my place today to say hi. So nice to see a familiar face:)

Grace, Cassie and Kate

I'll give you a real update instead of doing my homework.

So, law school is weird - you do homework everyday to learn new stuff, but then you re-hash your old stuff and 'outline' it so you can learn it all faster by condensing it. Well, you're supposed to anyway. I hate outlining and synthesizing class notes, study notes, tutoring notes, etc.
San Diego is very nice but I don't actually get to see much of it. I walk from my building to school and home and that's about it. If i'm feeling good in the mornings, I get up and go for a run before class.
I have a great group of girlfriends: Cassie from NY - young, blonde and pretty much my new bff; Kiley from LA - has giant curly black hair, likes to blog and run; and Grace from Palmsprings - latina, loves to bake and cook, and dedicated to etiquette and isn't afraid to tell you about it.
My other roommate moved in - her stuff was there for two months but she lived with a bad boyfriend. She finally got her game together and left. She's a 3L at another law school.
Finals are in a month so it's time to study. We are supposed to do 40 hours for each class - crazy huh!!?? I'm trying to be a better student and my three girlfriends are good about holding my hand and making me do homework with them.
And I want to go to Thailand inbetween my trimesters.

This place is great:)
